le·o
/ˈlēō/ noun zodiac sign symbolized by the lion
If people born today were looking at their horoscope, they’d be reading Aquarius; however, the sun is actually in Pisces, and the full moon is in Leo.
Ah yes, like everything in life, things are more complicated than they seem.
Regardless of your flavor of spirituality, faith, or religion, we all face times when we explore things we don’t understand to try and make sense of the world around us.
While most of my ‘gap year,’ which I now lovingly refer to as professional intermission, was devoted to completing my DBA studies and dissertation research, there was also time to explore the world, literally and figuratively.
AI has come so far over the past year. I look at my early prompts and what they generated compared to what I can easily do in a few clicks now. The bots create fascinating pictures and have learned the style and tone of my writing. Some days, the words flow easier than others, so using the tools available is just the next stage of skill evolution (remember life before Google was a verb?).
But the bots have also allowed me to explore and synthesize thoughts and data in previously unimaginable ways. Or atleast in ways that far outpaced my inherent skills and abilities at that given moment.
I fed in my comprehensively developed natal chart and asked it to synthesize my most prominent traits:
Dynamic and expressive, possessing a strong intellectual curiosity, adventurous spirit, and charismatic presence, driven by a passionate desire for knowledge and self-expression, yet challenged by restlessness and emotional intensity.
Maybe the planetary alignments all those years ago mean nothing, or maybe they mean everything, or more realistically, the answer lies somewhere in between.
We control our own actions and inactions at every decision point.
That’s actually a completely overwhelming thought when you step back and consider it.
The words we chose to say and the words we chose to leave unsaid. The choice to smile at a stranger in the grocery store aisle because a simple act of kindness can positively influence someone else’s day with absolutely no ‘cost’ to you.
Energy can be contagious.
Think about the last time you were around someone who was filled with exuberant joy, intense anger, annoying indifference, heartbreaking sorrow, or paralyzing fear. The energy we emit radiates well past our own sphere of influence. If you haven’t watched Inside Out 2, I highly recommend it as it impeccably delivers the complexity of this concept with comfortable ease.
Back to Leo.
Using the tools and resources available and my own specific data set, I asked the bots to synthesize what this full moon in Leo means for me:
The full moon in Leo marks a transformative period, emphasizing themes of self-expression, creativity, healing, and personal empowerment. While some challenges may arise due to Uranus's disruptive influence and Chiron's call for healing, these energies ultimately support growth and alignment with your authentic self. By embracing change, nurturing your inner light, and balancing joy with responsibility, you can make the most of this powerful lunation cycle.
And that is exactly what I plan on doing. In many ways, it perfectly complements what I have been working on diligently for months now, which tells me the journey is headed in the right direction.
Whether you agree with the bots and the planets or not, I think we can all agree that the world just might be a better place if we all chose to add a little more joy to each other’s lives.
